About the Mini NFC Tag
This is our smallest-format NFC tag, purpose-built for makers and jewellers who need to hide an NFC chip inside a finished piece rather than stick a visible tag on the surface. It's commonly embedded during 3D printing (paused mid-print to drop the tag in), set into resin jewellery, or fitted into custom smart rings — all while staying small enough to disappear into the object.

Will this work if fully embedded (no visible tag)?
Yes, as long as it isn't embedded directly against metal — resin, plastic, wood, and most non-metal materials don't block the signal.
How close does a phone need to be to read it?
Typically 1–3cm given the smaller antenna size — slightly shorter range than our full-size cards.
Can I still program it after embedding?
Program the tag before final embedding for easiest access; NFC data can technically still be rewritten afterward as long as a phone can get close enough.
What sizes are available?
